Greg-E660

Greg E660 was not only an excelent killing machine, but he had certain qualities that many other of his Spartan III brothers and sisters lacked. He was a good friend and a truly kind hearted person with very few agressive tendancies. He knew that fighting the Covenant was the right thing to do, and knew that his actions would save countless people, but killing them gave him no pleasure.

He was an explosives technician, but was used more often as a support unit, being paired up with other Spartans that required back up. There were few people that he didn't get along with and was one of the few Spartans that ODSTs enjoyed working with because he always got them out alive.

His weapons of choice were Grenade Launchers and Assault Rifles, although he's also been seen carrying an M6 Sidearm and plastic explosives depending on the mission requirments. He was never seen without grenades and it was said that he used more grenades than bullets. This wasn't a stretch to those who knew him.

After basic training, he left his Squad for a position on Fox Team. He became extrmely close to everyone on it and made sure that they all made it out in one piece, even if he didn't.

Unfortunatly for E660, his line of work was the source of his numerous injuries. On more than one occasion, it looked like he would have to be removed from active service due to being WIA, but each time Greg made a full recovery. It's estimated that over 75% of his body is scared, burned, or marked in some way. He has required numerous surgeries and has had mechanical implants that have boosted his performace to compensate for injuries.

He finally died during Fox Team's deloyment to Reach to stave off the Covenant invasion. While heading to his rondevouz point, he fell behind, attempting to destroy a Wraith that was threatening to take out their evac. The Wraith redirected its fire towards E660, killing him instantly, but allowing his team to escape safely. No body was ever descovered.
